I came across King Krule on a recent Jools Holland Later show and was impressed with the track Dum Surfer enough to purchase the album. I dont buy that much contempory music these days but was really knocked out by this album taking elements of hip hop, jazz, trip hop, punk and fusing them into new dark subterranean shapes.
